SEA VIEW – waterfront location on the quay

70 sqm fisherman’s house + exceptional raised sea-view terrace (10 sqm) + laundry room (10 sqm)

DESCRIPTION

Ground floor: living area with kitchen corner, lounge area, dining space with TV and Bluetooth speaker.

First floor: reading landing with sea view, twin bedroom (2 single beds 90×200), Bluetooth speakers, shower room with WC.

Second floor (bright attic): sea-view double bedroom (160×200 bed), open bathroom with bathtub overlooking the bedroom, separate WC with door.

Sea views from every floor (more limited on the ground floor) and even from the bathtub.

In front of the house (quay side): laundry room (washing machine, tumble dryer), relaxation area with beautiful sea view.

Above it, an exceptional sea-view terrace with outdoor furniture (access via steep staircase).

DECOR

A house with a real “soul” and the patina of time. Modest exterior, shaped by the marine elements. Inside, the atmosphere is cosy and peaceful, with a refined décor highlighting soft materials and seaside colours: wooden panelling, original terracotta tiles, polished concrete, original staircase, linen, stainless steel and zinc… shades of white, grey, blue and sand.

Antique-hunted furniture mixed with small contemporary design pieces (Hay coffee tables, Tolix chairs, Artemide lamp).

PARKING

All public parking in the village is free. Luggage drop-off possible 50 metres from the house or via the rear access.

Free parking is usually available on the quay directly in front of the house, except during temporary restrictions.

NB – Information for our guests

The Calvados Department will carry out works in the village in 2026–2027 to reinforce the outer harbour infrastructures dating from the 19th century, which have been weakened over time by natural conditions such as tides and storms. These works are essential for preserving the village, both today and for future generations.

During the project, some temporary adjustments may occur, including changes to traffic, parking areas and walking paths, as well as the presence of construction equipment and a work base near the Vauban Tower and occasionally on the piers. Movement of rock armour in the harbour may also take place. These works may begin as early as early 2026.

In the long term, Quai Letourneur will also benefit from a beautification.

RENTAL TERMS

Weekly rentals (fortnight stays in July–August except exceptions) or short stays depending on dates

CHECK-IN: from 5:00 pm (late arrival possible)

CHECK-OUT: time to be agreed together

Non-smoking property – no pets allowed

The property strictly accommodates a maximum of 2/4 people, including for meals. Our cottages are not suitable for groups of friends or large families. Please do not book several of our cottages for the same dates if you plan to dine together.
